My name is Jennifer Begay. I am a navajo teacher on the reservation, Pinon, AZ. How much would it be to have you come on out for a day to do an author visit for Kdg. - 5th grade.
We would very much like for you to come on out and meet with us and our children!!

Nancy,

I teach 6th grade writing in Goodyear, Arizona (and also am taking your Ethics class through Kaplan University right now). We are working on a personal narrative unit to start off our year in Writer's Workshop. We have been exploring how author's get ideas, how to develop the plot of the narrative (especially focusing on how to write a narrative of an event instead of a summary of an event).

I was wondering if you are still available to do an author visit, and what the costs would be for either a 2 hour visit or an all day visit.

I have a very interesting (yet extremely fun) class dynamic. My students are highly gifted, mostly boys (not that the boys are the highly gifted ones, but my class is made up of 18 boys and 7 girls), and very interested in Social Studies. I am making a strong correlation between Writer's Workshop and Reading instruction, and I feel as though the students (as well as myself) would greatly enjoy a visit from you.

Thank you in advance!
